FINALLY! We present 'Happenstance'

Yes it’s finally here! Our fourth release is now available (or it will be in the next few days).
Everything is finished, so you’ll start to see it appear in our stores as both CD (order now!) and download just as quickly as we can upload it.
It will start to appear in the major (and minor) download stores over the coming weeks, so keep an eye open for it at your favourite stores.
You’ll be able to listen to all of the tracks in full on Last.fm and through our website and one or two of the new tracks will be making an appearance on our myspace page.

RadioINDY.com Reviews Formica

This is a little late making it into our diary, but RadioIndy.com has reviewed Formica and Cork Tiles and awarded us with their Gold Artist Award.
Along with ‘Formica and Cork Tiles’, ‘Horizontal’ is featured on their website and of the 16 tracks from these albums - 5 have made it to No.1, 7 to top five and the remaining 4 to top 20 or higher in their Electronic charts!

The electronic duo of A Pyxie Worm are formed by one female and one male

Hatched out from a blue egg, two years before the 'summer of love'. A Pyxie Worm is a fusion of anything and everything that they find stimulating. Two creative minds that work together in all aspects of life, art and music.

They are not to fond of 'the hot', which is probably why they are fond of music and people which come from 'the cold'. They like wide open spaces, but find tight towns and cities interesting.

Because of their eclectic tastes, their music can sometimes sound like that too. What you hear today may not be what you hear tomorrow. Sometimes it may be quiet, mood inspiring and easy on your ears. Other times it may be the complete opposite making your ears bleed, or it may be somewhere in between.

The music that they make is the music that they enjoy making. It isn't necessarily the type of music that they listen to.

A Pyxie Worm have been likened musically to:
Air, Aphex Twin, Bjork, Boards of Canada, Bonobo, Brian Eno, Four Tet, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Japan, KLF, Massive Attack, Mike Oldfield, The Orb, Oribital, Moby, Múm, Sigur Ros, The Album Leaf and Zero 7.

They have also been likened to The Arctic Monkeys for the daftness of their name.
